From Principal to all the Parents

Dear Parents,

As we approach the end of the 2nd Term of the year 2017, I wish to thank all of you who have been extremely supportive throughout the term by ensuring through ways and means, that the activities which required your support were indeed happening & evolving too.

As the students prepare themselves to relax & rejuvenate during the vacation, let me call upon your attention on a few matters of concern, which requires your awareness & observation.

We would greatly appreciate if you could continuously focus on your child's academics during the vacation, while allocating time for relaxation and recreation. It is advisable if you could value your child's education and express the importance of it every single day, so that he may understand the significance of studying and achieving simple targets. I would encourage all parents whose children have obtained low grades, to concentrate more on the specific subjects and discover ways and means through which your child could be assisted - so that he may perform better next time. A productive time spent with a child will make a definite difference and I would urge all parents to take this step with determination. Pay close attention to his monthly examination report and take the time to monitor his progress, arid encourage him to obtain the targeted mark. After all, it is the education which would last a lifetime and that would be the ideal gift a parent could give a child. Always remember that your child is unique and may not have the same talents like the other children, it is the duty of us all to discover his potential and lead him towards his goal. Please be assured that we will be continuing to focus on the welfare of your child and we require your utmost support so that your child is supported on all ends and he becomes aware that he is surrounded with parental support & encouragement which is vital for his development.

Further, we would like to draw your attention to another essential factor, which plays a vital role in your child's formation at Wesley. We wish to accentuate on the discipline of students while they are in and even outside the College. A well disciplined child will be a definite asset to the society and we at Wesley give priority to instill values that would not depart from them. Hence, we solicit the support of parents to always emphasize on making the correct choices, responding in a positive manner & respecting others. Let them know that if they have had a tough day, or made a bad choice, they need to accept the consequence and not hold others responsible for their mistakes. Help them to realize that being disciplined now, will help them lifelong. In addition, we request all parents to address issues in a much more responsible manner, rather than rushing into inappropriate conclusions, which would not be suitable. Kindly ensure that your child abides by the Rules and regulations of the College at all times. Always remember that your child will learn to respect and live with self confidence and dignity only when his parents set an example.
