ROWING

Rowing was introduced at Wesley in October 2022 and is fast gaining popularity with the boys. The present squad is showing a lot of enthusiasm and a bunch willing to learn. They are in the safe hands of an experienced and hard working coach and we are confident that Wesley will be a force to be reckoned with in the near future. In the Inter School Rowing Competition was held on 13th & 14th December 2022 at Diyawanna Rowing Center. In the Under 14 category Wesley’s Yunus Mihlar came to Semi Finalist in Scull (Single Event) and Wesley College Team came in Second Place in Quad Scull Event. A tremendous achievement indeed considering the short period since this sport was introduced at Wesley.
