1. Project to upgrade Campbell park –

The sports loving fraternity of Wesley College both here and abroad together with the current day sportsmen of the School know how important it is for Wesley to possess a well-equipped playground of modern day standard. With this thought foremost in our minds, we have deemed it fit to immediately launch a fund raising project so that we do not limit our plans towards but instead Initiate firm and decisive action without further ado.

The project will accommodate the following tasks to be undertaken in 3 phases.

PHASE I

RENEWAL /REPLACEMENT OF THE 3 OLD PRACTICE NETS            – RS. 460,000/=

INSTALLATION OF 3 NEW TURF PRACTICE WICKETS                       – RS.540,000/=

INSTALATION OF NETS FOR NEW PRACTICE WICKETS                   – RS.370,000/=

EXTENTION OF THE GROUND, GRASSING AND AFTERCARE         – RS.180,000/=

GRASSING VACANT AREAS,FILLING POTHOLES AND CLEAN-UP    – RS.250,000/=

PHASE II

PROCUREMENT OF A MECHANIZED HEAVY ROLLER (2ND HAND) – RS. 2,000,000/=

PHASE III

UPGRADING AND EQUIPPING THE PAVILION                              – RS. 500,000/=

LANDSCAPING, AND INSTALLATION OF CANOPIES ETC.         – RS. 700,000/=

As we firmly believe that our benefactors consisting of Old Boys, Well-Wishes as well as present sportsman will rally round to make this venture a resounding success, the School will immediately undertake the 2 most urgent tasks consisting of extending the ground and renewing and upgrading the 3 sets of practice nets. Meanwhile we appeal to our benefactors to spontaneously contribute to this worthy cause.
